What is a Hunt Group?

Hunt groups, or line hunting, is a call forwarding feature that redirects incoming calls to a group of users of your choosing. Using a line hunting ring strategy will simultaneously ring all numbers in the hunt group, one single incoming call can loop through the hunt party. If the call remains unanswered, a message may be taken by a voicemail and forwarded to the group or person.

The seconds timeout before trying the hunt group enables you to delay the time before this hunt group kicks in.  If you set this a 0 it will work straight away.  A example of this is if you wanted the number to ring on the main phone first and then if no one is available it will ring the hunt group.
